BIKE AID CHARITY RIDE 2006
Alor Setar, Kedah to Singapore
As always, this is a fund-raising charity ride. The Kidney Dialysis Foundation (http://www.kdf.org.sg) has been nominated as the beneficary.
Participants are expected to:
1. Raise a minimum sum of S$3,000 in donations.
2. Pay a registration fee of S$400 which will cover accommodation, support and some meals on the trip
3. Be fit and able to complete the approximately 1,000 km journey
Due to the continued unrest in Southern Thailand, we shall begin the ride in Kedah and end in Singapore. The TENTATIVE schedule is as follows:
Day 1 Alor Setar to Taiping 194km
Day 2 Taiping to Telok Intan 152km
Day 3 Telok Intan to Klang 147km
Day 4 Klang to Port Dickson 127km
Day 5 Port Dickson to Malacca 88km
Day 6 Malacca to Batu Pahat 104km
Day 7 Batu Pahat to JB 132km
JB to End point 25km
Total distance is 969km to End point.
